FAQ
As a school, how do I use your site?
You can search by category, area and age or by all three to identify the most suitable provider for your school.
Fill out the form with your requirements and we will do the rest!
If you have chosen a specific provider and they are unable to fulfil your requirements, we will always try to identify an alternative provider.
Will my show be delivered by assemblyshowsforschools.com?
No.
Assemblyshowsforschools.com is a directory of third party suppliers advertising their services to schools or other organisations.
If you choose to book a show/workshop with a provider/supplier as listed on assemblyshowsforschools.com, the contract is between the school/organisation and the workshop/show provider.

As a school or organisation it is your responsibility to verify the credentials of a provider you may be interested in engaging.
We suggest you obtain proof of ID, police clearance for all staff, insurance, references, full cost breakdown and workshop/show plans.
As a school, how do I contact several providers with my query?
assemblyshowsforschools is a directory, we don’t generally recommend providers.
You can search by type and area to see which workshops might suit.
To send your inquiry to your chosen provider, please complete the contact form on the specific workshop page. You need to complete a form per provider.
If they can meet your requirements they will be in touch. If they can’t help this time, the inquiry is sent to other providers in the same category in case they can assist you.
As a provider, why should I advertise on assemblyshowsforschools.com?
Assemblyshowsforschools.com is part of schoolworkshops.com, the UK's leading workshop directory.
In the last year we had over 40,000 unique visitors searching for workshops to take place in their school.
What details should I include in my advert?
Make sure you include as much information about your workshop as possible. Photos are essential, and help us to promote your listings. Testimonials from schools can be very powerful too.
You are not allowed to include contact details or web links - these will be removed by our team. Schools will be able to contact you via the standard enquiry form.
There is a separate section for ages and locations so do not duplicate this information in your advert.
Metadata text needs to be kept under 150 characters. Photos should be landscape 800x600 pixels jpg.
New and edited listings will be approved by our team before going live.
NB - Your details (name and street address) must match exactly to that held on your PayPal account.
Why is it free to place an advert?
Unlike other websites, assemblyshowsforschools.com doesn't charge to place your first advert. We firmly believe you should only pay when you receive a booking which is why we charge per inquiry received.
Your advert will be made live once it has been verified by a member of the team.
You must also provide a link from your website to us to be eligible for the free advert. See Link to us
Can I appear in more than one category?
Yes. You are allowed to appear in as many categories as you want. Each additional category is priced at $20 and all wording must differ from any other category you appear in. You cannot place two adverts in the same category.
Can I change my advert once it is posted?
You are able to change your advert as many times as you like within your user area. All changes need to be verified by a member of the assemblyshowsforschools.com team and may not be live again for 48 hours. Click Post to send for verification.

I would like to set up a new category. How do I do this?
If there is not a suitable category for you to appear in, please contact a member of the team to discuss, on info@ssbcreative.com.
How many enquiries am I likely to receive?
Much of this depends on the demand for your service and the quality of your advert.
Photos and testimonials are very useful. Take a look at what other providers are offering to get an idea of the format of a successful workshop before planning your own.
A member of the assemblyshowsforschools.com team can always assist with your postings.
